Jayshawn Lee brings a unique background as a writer, human rights strategist, and cultural organizer dedicated to advancing equity. With expertise in political economy and human rights, he designs fundraising campaigns and cultural initiatives that center marginalized voices and create lasting impact. His work has been recognized on NBC’s Today Show, nominated for the 2025 Creative Climate Awards, and honored with the openEARTHstudio Artistic-Activism Award. Through programming with Ars Poetica he has shaped narratives and events for mission-driven partners like the Smithsonian Museums and Amnesty International, and has consulted for various nonprofits to strengthen their fundraising and communications. Jayshawn holds an MA in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University and a BA from NYU Gallatin.
